Park Bo-gum will host the new season of “The Seasons,” making him the first non-singer MC of KBS’s late-night music talk show. The program, which has featured artists like Jay Park, AKMU, and Zico, now returns with “Park Bo-gum’s Cantabile,” a title he personally suggested, is derived from the musical term “cantabile,” meaning “in a singing style” and inspired by his 2014 drama “Tomorrow’s Cantabile.”

Since his 2011 debut in “Blind,” Park Bo-gum has demonstrated his passion for music through OSTs, song releases, and performances. He impressed audiences with his singing and piano skills on “You Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook” and “The Seasons – Zico’s Artist,” further strengthening his ties to KBS’s music programs. A teaser also highlighted his piano and dance abilities.

Despite his experience hosting “Music Bank” and major award shows like “Baeksang Arts Awards” and “MAMA,” this will be his first time leading a full-fledged music program. Once aspiring to be a singer, he deeply admires musicians and is preparing for his first recording with great enthusiasm.

Previously, “The Seasons – Lee Young-ji’s Rainbow” wrapped up on February 21, recording a peak rating of 1.1% and a low of 0.7%, a disappointing result. With “Lee Young-ji’s Rainbow” ending in tears during its final episode, all eyes are on Park Bo-gum to see how he will carry the baton forward.
Welcoming the fresh start of spring, “The Seasons – Park Bo-gum’s Cantabile” will premiere on White Day, March 14, at 10 PM KST on KBS2.
